After a devastating vehicle accident, I sustained a traumatic brain injury. Moreover, multiple surgeries were required to fix an assortment of broken bones and destroyed joints.  This disaster left me in chronic severe pain and very little mind left.

Medications, neurofeedback and rehabilitation of many types  brought me only so far back to normal.

Chewy, my seizure alert dog walked me forward to  "neurotypical" health. And now he wants me to tell his story.

Really, so few come back from such ruin that this  "mere dog" does deserve his hero story to be told. Below is his book. This details the day-to-day experiences of patient and doctor dog as I learn to eat, shower, talk, walk again, and be socially integrated back into the world of Bipeds.

Thankfully, Chewy has a better sense of humor than me which he liberally sprinkled throughout each chapter. He describes his memoir as a funny medical thriller.
