150 years ago A.T.Still used the connective system to establish an osteopathic way to view pathology. In fact, his ideas were so successful an entire new type of physician was established Doctors of Osteopathy. In hospitals the jackets of doctors have D.O> or M/D. written on them.
Fascia research started in a serious manner about ten years ago. As connective tissue is difficult to capture on scans ( X-rays. MRI, CAT) it was ignored until now.
